GlidePad Terms

GlidePad lets an iPhone act as a local trackpad and keyboard for a nearby Mac running GlidePad Helper. It is an input utility, not a remote desktop app, screen-sharing app, monitoring tool, or security tool.

GlidePad Helper is a free Mac companion app required for Mac input control. It is available from the official GlidePad Helper download. It requires macOS Accessibility permission so macOS will allow it to move the pointer, click, scroll, and type on the user's behalf. Users are responsible for installing the helper only from official So Good Co distribution links.

You are responsible for pairing only with Macs you own or are authorized to control, reviewing text before sending it, and using GlidePad in a safe and lawful way. Do not use GlidePad to control a device without permission.

GlidePad is available as a paid iPhone app through Apple's App Store. The current public listing shows a $9.99 one-time purchase. GlidePad Helper for Mac is provided free because it is infrastructure for the iPhone app. App Store pricing and availability may change in Apple's storefront.

The Mac helper may be updated manually through the So Good Co website when macOS compatibility, signing, networking, or input behavior requires a new helper build. GlidePad does not currently use a separate automatic updater for the helper.

For apps distributed through the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Apple media services terms may also apply unless a separate custom EULA is provided.
