GlidePad Privacy Policy

This policy applies to GlidePad for iPhone and GlidePad Helper for Mac. The global So Good Co website privacy policy applies to the public website and company-level support pages.

GlidePad processes local input information needed to provide the app's features, including touch movement, clicks, scrolling, gestures, keyboard draft text, submitted text, modifier state, selected local peer name, and pairing code. GlidePad Helper may process local connection state, pairing state, focused text input state, and native input events needed to control the Mac.

Information is used to pair the iPhone with GlidePad Helper, move the Mac pointer, click, scroll, type text the user chooses to send, trigger keyboard and gesture actions, troubleshoot issues, and respond to support or privacy requests.

GlidePad may request Local Network and Bluetooth-related permissions so it can discover and connect to GlidePad Helper nearby. GlidePad Helper requires macOS Accessibility permission so macOS will allow it to post pointer, scroll, click, and keyboard events. Users can change these permissions in iOS Settings and macOS System Settings.

GlidePad does not stream, record, mirror, or inspect the Mac screen. It does not require an account, does not use a cloud relay for input, and is designed to work over local Apple networking when Wi-Fi or Bluetooth is available. Keyboard draft text stays on the iPhone until the user sends it to the paired Mac.

GlidePad input data remains between the user's iPhone and paired Mac helper during a local session unless the user chooses to send information to support. We do not sell personal information and do not use app data for third-party advertising tracking. Apple may process App Store purchase information under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.

You can end a pairing session by disconnecting the app, revoke Local Network or Bluetooth permissions in iOS Settings, revoke Accessibility permission in macOS System Settings, delete the app or helper, and contact support for privacy requests.

GlidePad is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
