ScaleZ Privacy Policy

This policy applies to ScaleZ. The global So Good Co website privacy policy applies to the public website and company-level support pages.

ScaleZ processes text the user types inside the ScaleZ writing surface, local typing rhythm, musical settings, flow-session metrics, document export choices, and optional recording data made of generated musical note events and timing. Support messages and basic technical information may be processed when the user contacts support.

Information is used to provide the writing surface, local typing-to-music playback, flow feedback, document export, MIDI export, troubleshooting, and support or privacy responses.

The Mac App Store build is designed to turn typing inside ScaleZ into music. It responds to writing in the ScaleZ writing surface, does not read typing outside the app, and uses Apple file panels selected by the user for export and file workflows.

Writing, music sessions, and exported files remain on the user's Mac unless the user chooses to export, share, or send information for support. We do not sell personal information and do not use app data for third-party advertising tracking.

You can edit or delete writing in ScaleZ, delete exported text or MIDI files from your Mac, turn sound on or off inside the app, and contact support for privacy requests.

ScaleZ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
